At Sounds of Color Studio, we have offered French classes for over 20 years, helping students learn the French language as well as the culture and history of France. How We Teach • French Club

Our French Club classes offer students the opportunity to learn French language and culture with an engaging curriculum. We skip boring exercises in favor of live dialogue practice and immersive activities to help you learn French faster and better. Even in your first class, you’ll start learning words and phrases that you can use in real-world situations right away. So, whether you’re interested in supplementing your child’s foreign language education or want to confidently travel and explore Paris on your next vacation, it’s all possible at Sounds of Color Studio.

Skills We Teach • French Club

French Club classes at Sounds of Color Studio focus on providing a deep immersion into the French language and culture. Our curriculum is self-paced and tailored to each student’s experience level and learning goals. 

  • French Club (Ages 4-6) introduces our youngest students to basic greetings and conversation phrases, numbers colors, food, time, the weather and more.

  • French Club (Ages 7 and up) students learn to read and write more in-depth, with a focus on short-stories, complete sentences and paragraphs.

  • Adult French Club provides a deeper immersion into the French language. Students build their language foundation with verb conjugation, sentence structure, and higher-level reading, writing, and conversation.

Fees • Group Class Schedule

French Club Class Fees*

Private: 1 lesson/week • 30 minutes • $200/month + $200 material fee**
Group: 1 lesson/week • 1 hour • $150/month per student + $200 material fee**

*Private and group class fees include 4 lessons per month. If a month has 5 weeks, there is no additional charge for the fifth class. All class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

**Material fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, one-time fees.

Studio Classes

Our inviting studio creates a comfortable and relaxing environment perfect for learning the French language. Small group class sizes mean our students receive hands-on instruction from our teachers.

  • The youngest age level we recommend beginning with French Club classes is 4 years old.

  • Not at all! We're here to help you accomplish your goal of learning a new language.

  • Yes! For students interested in Spanish, we recommend checking out our Spanish Club class here.

  • Yes. Our teachers have extensive experience and/or educational backgrounds in their area of specialization. Every teacher is thoroughly vetted and goes through a comprehensive background check, including FBI and Department of Justice clearance.

  • We do our best to match every student with the perfect teacher, but if for any reason it's just not the right fit, we will be more than happy to find an alternative solution. Depending on the situation, this may include finding a new teacher for private lessons, or a different group class.

  • Yes! We have many students who require special learning accommodations, and our dedicated and caring teachers help everyone shine in their classes. Please inform us of any special circumstances during registration.
