Sewing and craft classes at Sounds of Color Studio are for students interested in learning about sewing, stitching, designing accessories, and crafting adorable projects! Our teachers regularly introduce new concepts to help students expand their skillset.

Our sewing and craft classes provide a creative environment for students to learn a variety of skills including:
Using a sewing machine
Sewing with a thread and needle
Measuring and cutting fabric

Fees • Group Class Schedule
Sewing & Craft Class Fees*
Private: 1 lesson/week • 1 hour • $500/month + $500 material fee**
Group: 1 lesson/week • 1 hour • $150/month per student + $500 material fee**
*Class fees include 4 lessons per month. If a month has 5 weeks, there is no additional charge for the fifth class. Tuition is billed monthly, and all class fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-prorated - regardless of attendance.

Studio Classes
Our studio has everything needed to inspire creativity in our sewing and craft classes. With plenty of sewing machine stations and stylish fabric patterns, the possibilities are endless! Small group class sizes mean our students receive hands-on training from our teachers, and personalized projects make the learning process fun and engaging.
Makeup Lesson Policy
Advance notice prior to missing a lesson is appreciated. Makeup lessons (if applicable) must be scheduled in advance for a day/time mutually convenient for both the student and teacher (no walk-ins). Makeup lessons may not be used in place of a regular class session. Any accrued makeup lessons are forfeited if a student is no longer enrolled at Sounds of Color Studio. No refunds will be provided for any forfeited makeup lessons.
Commonly Asked Questions About Sewing & Craft Classes

We accept students as young as 5 years old in our Sewing and Craft classes. Use of certain class equipment may be limited for younger students, and to ensure student safety, the teacher may need to complete specific portions of the project.

Yes. Our teachers have extensive experience and/or educational backgrounds in their area of specialization. Every teacher is thoroughly vetted and goes through a comprehensive background check, including FBI and Department of Justice clearance.

Yes! We have many students who require special learning accommodations, and our dedicated and caring teachers help everyone shine in their classes. Please inform us of any special circumstances during registration.
