Sounds of Color Studio’s Parent & Me: French + Art Immersion classes offer parents and children the unique opportunity to learn art and French language skills together in one class! Explore French culture and learn about France’s influential artists, while creating beautiful artwork in a variety of mediums. Instruction is provided in a blended French-English learning environment to help you and your child develop your artistic portfolio and language skillset.
How We Teach • Parent & Me: French + Art Immersion Classes
At Sounds of Color Studio, our Parent & Me: French + Art Immersion classes allow parents and children the freedom to work on any project in any medium of their choice, and at their own pace. Explore different mediums and receive instruction in French and English to provide an immersive cultural experience. Our small class sizes allow teachers to work hands-on with you and your child, providing individualized guidance and instruction.
Skills We Teach • Parent & Me: French + Art Immersion Classes
French language skills are introduced along with artistic concepts focusing on French cultural immersion. Different art mediums are covered through the works of France’s most influential artists, while teachers provide instruction in French and English. You and your child will build a vibrant artistic portfolio and learn a new language! You will both also enjoy access to an extensive library of art resources and supplies, providing limitless opportunity for creativity.

Parent & Me class fees cover 1 parent or guardian and 1 child.

Parent & Me: French + Art Immersion Class Fees*
Private: 1 lesson/week • 30 minutes • $200/month + $400 material fee** (Covers 1 parent or guardian and 1 child)
Group: 1 lesson/week • 1 hour • $200/month + $400 material fee** (Covers 1 parent or guardian and 1 child)
*Private and group class fees include 4 lessons per month. If a month has 5 weeks, there is no additional charge for the fifth class. All class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No! In addition to learning artistic fundamentals, you and your child will also learn French language skills for a truly immersive cultural experience!

Yes. Our teachers have extensive experience and/or educational backgrounds in their area of specialization. Every teacher is thoroughly vetted and goes through a comprehensive background check, including FBI and Department of Justice clearance.

We do our best to match every student with the perfect teacher, but if for any reason it's just not the right fit, we will be more than happy to find an alternative solution. Depending on the situation, this may include finding a new teacher for private lessons, or a different group class.
