WHAT TO EXPECT • Private Art Events

We take joy in making sure every detail of your event is perfectly planned. To help you prepare, we’ve included some useful information about what you can expect leading up to the day of your event.

Booking An Event

As soon as we confirm availability for your event, the full payment is required to officially secure your desired date/time. Event bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received. Payment can be sent through Zelle to (714) 624-1221.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the rising costs of supplies and materials, we do not offer any refunds for private events. Private events may be rescheduled to a different date/time based on studio availability. A minimum of 72 hours advance notice is required to reschedule a private event. Sounds of Color Studio is not liable for any costs incurred due to rescheduling.

Art Project Selection

Currently, we offer the following art project options for private events:

  • Watercolor Painting

  • Acrylic Painting (Wood or Canvas)

  • Smashed Glass Art (Wood or Canvas)

If you have a specific project theme you’d like to do (ex. fairy tale, nature, etc.), just let us know! We are also happy to provide theme suggestions for your event.

All-Inclusive Event Packages

We want you to enjoy your event as much as possible. All art project supplies are included, as well as friendly and helpful staff to ensure you and your guests have a memorable experience. Here’s what’s included:

2 Hours Private Studio Time

Private art events include 2 hours in our studio. We can comfortably accommodate up to 15 guests. Please note we do not have a waiting room for non-participating guests. All events are drop-off only.

Art Project Supplies

We provide all the materials you need to complete the art project selected for your event.

Helpful Staff

Our experienced staff ensure every guest has a wonderful experience and is able to follow along with the art project at an enjoyable pace.

Digital Invitations (Birthday Parties Only)

For birthday parties, we create a customized digital invitation that you can share with your guests.

Event Start Time

Our studio doors will open approximately 15 minutes before your event start time to allow guests to settle in and for you to set up food or other items if needed. The art project will begin at the specified event start time. For guests who arrive late, we will do our best to get them caught up, but we cannot guarantee they will be able to finish the project.

Taking Home Your Project

We make sure the art project selected for your event is tailored to the experience level for you and your guests. That way, everyone is able to comfortably create and leave with a finished project! If time constraints or other circumstances arise during the event, we may slightly modify a project to ensure all guests are able to finish.
